The spa of Smarjeske Toplice is located 169 m above sea level, protected by trees and surrounded by meadows. Clean air and a mild pre-alpine climate supplement the healing power of the thermal spring (32°C, slightly mineralised, containing magnesium and calcium). Two hundred years ago, the native people discovered that the thermal water influenced positively on the body and the soul.There are two connected hotels, Smarjeta **** and HOTEL VITARIUM **** (superior).
The guests can find three indoor swimming pools with a water temperature of 32°C. For the summer days, there are also outdoor baths with water temperatures between 26 and 28°C.
You can also find here a popular wooden swimming pool, located directly above the spring with a temperature of 32°C. In the vicinity of the hotel, there is a well-equipped sports park with 4 tennis courts, table tennis, a mini golf course, rent-a-bike facilities, a beach-volley court, a football pitch and a wooden playground.
